Bredonborough.
To dinner last night with Pam & Richard Crooks with other local guests, all very interesting people: 2 published authors, an architect who was in the Hugh Casson office, and a local landowner. A wonderful, spirit-lifting evening.
Returning home just after midnight, on the answering machine: a message from Director Bill, recently home from the best motel $40 could buy (the neon sign was the motel’s best feature). We called Bill back.
So, a fabbo evening of wonderful company and informed conversation.
This morning, a fish died. T knows all the fish & their characteristics, and has given them names. She has been keeping a close eye on Lady for several weeks, but Lady has not been eating. This is upsetting.
Otherwise, a beautiful day…
